The S3 is the youth skate in the S-series — our high performance line of Cardiff Skates. The S-series features the best brakes, bearings, and wheel quality offered by Cardiff Skate Company. They also have a longer warranty.

For tall and large youth, or youth with growing feet on the upper end of S3 sizing, check out the S2 (Small) as an alternative to the S3.

What's the difference between the S3 and the Cruiser Youth?

The S3 and the Cruiser Youth look similar in design and function, but the S3 are high-performance skates while the Cruiser Youth are recreational skates. Some of the differences include length of warranty (1 Year vs 180 Days), ABEC 5 bearing quality (Standard metal vs Carbon), brake material (Forged Aluminum vs Composite), stitching style, and color. Simply put, both skates perform well, but the S3 will have a little higher performance.
